Explore Gender Cohorts

Do you have questions about Your Gender Identity and don't know where to start?

Exploring your gender can feel lonely. You don’t have to do it alone.

An 8-week online educational support group for English speaking adults who want a safe, affirming space to explore gender identity, dysphoria, faith, relationships, self-trust, and next steps.

Closed group. 10 members max. Screening required before enrollment.

This group may be a fit if you are:

Questioning your Gender

Trying to think honestly about presentation, transition, disclosure, relationships, or faith

Trans, nonbinary, gender-expansive, or unsure what language fits

Feeling isolated because you don’t have many safe people to talk to

Experiencing gender dysphoria, gender euphoria, shame, fear, or confusion

Wanting an affirming space that does not pressure you to rush, perform, or prove anything

What to expect

Over eight weeks the group will explore:

Gender identity and self-understanding

Dysphoria, euphoria, and embodiment

Coping skills for intense dysphoria

Presentation, names, pronouns, clothing, and visibility

Faith, spirituality, church, and family systems

Marriage, dating, friendship, and relational fear

Taking next steps without panicking or disappearing from yourself

What this group is:

It is an educational, exploration-focused space where you can slow down, tell the truth, listen to others, and begin building trust with yourself.

This group is not here to tell you who you are.

It is not a debate space, a political argument, a conversion-oriented group, or a place where you will be pushed toward or away from transition.

What about privacy?

Because members share personal experiences, privacy matters. Members are expected to protect one another's privacy, attend from a private location, use headphones when possible, and not record sessions.

This is an educational program, not a clinical service — it does not operate under professional confidentiality standards or privacy laws like HIPAA. No facilitator can guarantee what other members choose to share outside the group. These expectations will be reviewed before enrollment.

MEET THE Facilitator

Hey, I'm Tim Goode (any/all)

II've worked in the counseling field since 2010 and founded GoodeCounsel in 2016, where I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ people and people exploring their gender identity. I bring that background to this cohort — though this program itself is educational, not a counseling service.
